Kinetika has run for six years: registered physiotherapists who also teach rehab Pilates, in classes capped at five people. It has a 4.9 rating from 130 reviews and a loyal group of regulars. Online, it looked closed:
- Instagram: the last post was nine months old.
- Ads: none, while a Pilates studio down the road had started running Meta ads.
- Search: Kinetika sat at #8 for “physiotherapy Bangsar”, at the bottom of the page.
- Enquiries: the physios answered WhatsApp themselves, between patients. People who came for a trial class got no follow-up about a package.
Founder Sharmila had tried a freelancer for posts, a separate agency for ads and a part-timer for WhatsApp. That’s three people, three invoices and three handovers, and nobody owned the result.

“Finished physio, but the pain keeps coming back?”
Her patients didn’t want “rehab Pilates explained”. They wanted to know why the pain returns, and what happens at the first visit. So every piece of content leads with the patient’s situation, not the condition.
Sunday, 8:15am
A runner with heel pain messaged after seeing a Reel titled “Why do your first steps out of bed hurt the most?”. She was asked how long it had been going on, told that the first visit is a full physio assessment, booked for Saturday at 9am and reminded the day before. The physio saw her notes before she arrived. After her trial class, a follow-up came and she bought a 10-class package. Nobody on the team touched the conversation.

“I used to manage three people who all blamed each other. Now there’s one team, one report, and my physios just treat.”
